Do you have different options for the aluminium frames?
Hagley manufactures the APL range of aluminium joinery; this includes the Residential, Metro and Architectural suites. All are available in a Thermal Heart option.
How long will my joinery take to manufacture?
Manufacturing will usually take 4-5 weeks. This can vary at busy times, our consultant can confirm this for you when you place your order.
I’m building a new home can you supply and install my new joinery?
Supply yes, new build installation is usually completed by your builder or LBP – Licensed Building Practitioner.
I’m renovating an existing home can you supply and install my new joinery?
Yes, we can arrange the removal and replacement. You can discuss the details with our consultant.
Can I buy my joinery directly from you or do I have to go through a builder?
You can buy directly from us; just arrange a visit to our showroom and we can show you our range of options available.
How will the recent H1 Building Code changes affect me?
The building code now calls for better thermal performance in the form of thermally broken aluminium frames and double-glazed units with Low E glass and Argon gas. We have everything you need to be fully compliant.
Do you have a selection of colours available?
Our Duralloy Plus range has 28 colours for you to choose from.
Do you have a selection of hardware available?
We have a large selection including the Elemental, Icon, Miro and Urbo ranges. E Lok Digital lock options are also available.
I live on a busy street; traffic noise is a concern.
We have acoustic glazing options available to help reduce the transmission of sound.
I have condensation on my windows – what can I do to avoid this?
You may see condensation on your windows in cold conditions when there is high humidity. Ventilation is the key to reducing humidity. Always use a fan/vent in the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry where steam or moisture is present and open your windows regularly. Even a few minutes a day will make a difference.
How do I care for my aluminium joinery?
Regular washing with a mild detergent will keep your glass and aluminium looking great – don’t forget to rinse well.
